I received an MFA in ceramic sculpture from Alfred University in Alfred, New York. 
As an undergraduate I attended Wesleyan University in Middletown, Connecticut where I received a BA in studio art. I have taught courses in ceramics at a number of schools, including Harvard University and MassArt in Boston, Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and Georgia State University in Atlanta, Georgia.
